About ParentDashboard as a Business

ParentDashboard is a parent driven SOCIAL PURPOSE ENTERPRISE that supports families who raise complex care children.  Our business model uses a combination of in-person and digital products and services to reduce costs for individual families, generate business for our partners, and leverage additional resources for non-profits who support complex needs families.  We fully support our partners in businesses serving families with complex needs.

ParentDashboard’s services and resources are the ones not typically offered by government agencies, therapeutic professionals, or medical / educational systems.  We support families with concierge-like logistical services and coaching across all domains of their life (health, wealth and childcare) in order to help them cope with the demands that complex caregiving brings.  

THERE ARE 3 WAYS WE SUPPORT OUR PARTNERS:  REFERRALS, FEATURED PROMOTIONS and our DIGITAL BUSINESS BOOSTER OFFER:

1. REFERRALS FOR IN PERSON SERVICES

When a parent doesn’t have a professional and tells us they want that support, we refer them to one of our Professional Partners.  We do not diagnose, assess, or develop therapy plans.  We promote professionals we know truly employ child-centred care with an emphasis on parental rights.   Our service focus is to help parents with their daily burdens and build their capacity to engage in their complex child’s care, using a concierge-like model.

2. FEATURED PROMOTIONS ONLINE

Your service as a provider to families is incredibly valuable, wherever you are in the world.  Our mission is to alleviate special needs parent’s extra workload in every way, and frequently source and refer this help for them from all over the world.  We serve parents by featuring providers of product or service our clients may need in our online community and newsletter.  There are several ways we feature providers:

ParentDashboard Presents Events ZoomCast / YouTube:   We currently advertise to a curated collective audience that has a collective reach of approximately 750,000 parents of complex children in Canada, US and UK.  We use specialized organic marketing techniques and various platforms to feature or partners. Monthly Newsletter Ad Feature:  As a result of our growing online presence, we have a rapidly increasing email contact list to which we send our monthly online newsletter.  The newsletter features key resources for parents, including our partners.  Ad placements in our newsletter can attract clients for in-person services in Greater Victoria BC Canada, or point to your online offer anywhere in the world. 

3. DIGITAL BUSINESS BOOSTER - COACHING TO IMPROVE SOCIAL MEDIA CLIENT LEAD & SALES CONVERSION

our social purpose enterprise supports its partners with “business to business” (B2B) online product development, and social media sales and marketing services.  While we directly help your business grow, you help the families we both serve.   

The fees from our intensive B2B social media lead and sales conversion 60 day coaching program directly fund overhead for hands-on workers that support families.  Our goal is to support your business growth, then reduce the hourly charge-out rate of our own workers from $30/hr to $10/hr by 2025.  This will allow parents to pay less while worker have full time, insured payrolled hours at living wage (between $23.50 – $30.00/hr) with benefits.
