OUR 3-STEP PROCESS BELOW IS DESIGNED TO HELP!
At ParentDashboard we truly understand parents are the ones who know their child best. We’re here to simplify and provide safe activities your child can grow in. We give an extra hand to special needs parents – we’ll deal with the mountain of paperwork and coordination of workers and professionals. STEP 1: BOOK A CALL OR YOUR CHILD'S SESSION ONLINE
At ParentDashboard we feel strongly it should be just as easy for parents to engage reliable support for their complex needs child as it would be to order an Amazon package. So we created the team and technology to do that for Greater Victoria BC. As we grow, we hope to provide this service elsewhere.
Click at left to “meet our team” complete with videos and stats on each worker, and their calendar availability so you can book the person you want, when you want them. You can also book an initial conversation with our Intake Coordinator if you need more information first.

Our goal is to provide your child with the best, safest possible service. Learning about you child helps us meet their specific needs and give them the best result. If your child has any complex needs, we ask you to complete our DETAILED CLIENT INTAKE FORM, YOU CAN PREVIEW HERE.
Your child’s safety and family privacy are paramount to us. We NEVER share information without your written permission.
STEP 3: HELP IS ON ITS WAY
THAT’S IT!
No more scrambling to find flexible but affordable care! No more worrying about if your worker is trained or safe – we provide training and do full criminal background checks! No more hassles with payments or paperwork – you can pay privately via e-transfer or credit card, or we can bill direct to your special needs funding source.
Best yet, once you’re a client, you have your own personal booking portal. BOOK US ONLINE HERE (24 hours notice required) as you need us. It also sends appointment reminders & receipts!

We respect your parental authority, and children come first. Full stop. Parents know their children best, and when we listen to a child’s parents, everyone benefits. Your child’s needs are the first consideration in any decision, because they are the first priority.
We respect your time. We know you hire people so you can go to work and do important things. Our employees are expected to be prompt and communicate, and our online services will be packed with value.
We respect your wallet. We vehemently disagree with predatory practices and meal-ticketing parents who need services for their children. We don’t charge 200% markup on staff payroll rates, and never ask Special Needs parents to assign their funding to us up front. We don’t change your child’s worker unnecessarily or without notice, because kids need stability. As a social purpose enterprise, our company’s founding purpose is to generate profit to donate back to special needs families and organizations that help them to make sure the needs of vulnerable of children and families are met.
We respect our workers. We provide a company culture where committed, talented and compassionate employees are excited to make it their life’s purpose to take a positive uplifting team-approach to helping kids and their families.
WHY WE UNDERSTAND DIVERSE NEEDS CHILDREN'S SERVICES
Our founders are special needs parents, so “we get it”. All the additional invisible demands, pressures and worries. You need the tools, and people, to help.
Firstly, your complex care child needs consistent, affordable, well-trained, compassionate support. It’s too emotionally wrenching for these kids to change workers all the time, and you want the right one. You need to be able to live without the fear that if one worker isn’t a good fit, there are no others available – so you can make tough calls for your child’s best interest. You shouldn’t need to become an Employer and take on all sorts of extra costs and legal risks on your own to be in charge. You don’t have time or energy to run hiring processes every few months, do exhaustive criminal and reference checks, and pay for expensive insurance just to make sure your child has safe care. ParentDashboard (formerly known as AABB Homecare Services Ltd.) does all this for you, and more.
Secondly, we how valuable the people who support your child are – and they become almost like extended family. We treat our employees well, and create long term employment opportunities for them. We ensure they are safe people, well trained, and attentive to your needs. We believe a worker should be able to focus on your child rather than the next better-paying “self-employment gig” because they’re worried they wont make ends meet with you as a Contractor. Its not fair to your child when they leave for a better opportunity, so we create growth opportunities within our company. We also understand how much you need the RIGHT worker. Our company developed a matching system that screens your special needs child to connect with only workers that are good fit in order to achieve 3 goals: execute your priorities as parent for your child, provide your child stable, customized support, and ensure employees are treated fairly. You won’t have to worry when the fit turns out differently than you thought, because we’ll have (or recruit) another worker for you in case you want to change. What’s best for your child is what’s important.
