EXPLORATION POD ACTIVITIES & DETAILS:
ParentDashboard’s Spring Break Offer
- Camps are done in small Pods that consist of up to 3 Explorers plus their Pod Leader. This is for better safety and more attentive care.
- Camps are mobile (i.e. done at various activity sites in community). This keeps things fresh! Transport included.
- Depending on geolocation, campers can be picked up at home or meet at a pre-determined, central location between Pod participants.
- Explorers can attend for half day (9am-12pm OR 1pm – 4pm) or full day (9am – 4pm). Half Day fee is $295. Full Day Fee is $550.
- Morning sessions are activities with no admission fee. After the morning session, there is a one hour lunch (your child remains supervised during pickup/drop off of others) Afternoon sessions may involve an activity with paid admission not included in the camp fee, depending on the wishes of Explorers and their parent (paid by parent).
- Explorers are responsible for their own weather-appropriate clothing, a full, packed lunch and snacks including a refillable water bottle.
- When feasible, Leaders of separate Pods may meet up for lunch in a socially distanced outdoors space to allow kids play and socialize with additional new friends
- Parents will provide booster seats if needed. If parents wish for their participant to wear masks, they should provide them. Pod Leaders wear masks.
- All our staff are experienced with supporting both neurotypical and complex needs children, have vulnerable sector checks, and are fully vaccinated.
- Seats go quickly, there are limited number of Pods. Secure your seat with pre-payment. Payment is accepted via e-transfer, Paypal, Autism Funding Unit.

Camp Pod Activities Description
Morning Camp Pods Run from 9am – 12pm!
POD ACTIVITIES MAY INCLUDE (AS CHOSEN BY PARTICIPANTS): Hikes, trips to beach, bike ride, crabbing off a dock, lake swimming, kite-making and flying, painting / drawing, fort building, neighbourhoood walk, games (yahtzee/ board/ card games), learning about gardening, geocaching, soccer, baseball, frisbee!Transport is included.
Full Day Camps Run from 9am – 4pm!
POD ACTIVITIES MAY INCLUDE (AS CHOSEN BY PARTICIPANTS):
Recreation Centre / Pool swimming, Royal BC Museum, Sidney Museum, Air museum, Imax, Wild Play Fun Park, Bouldering, Movie Theater, Flying Squirrel, Heritage Acres, Skywalk, Maritime museum, Fort Rodd, Shaw Discovery Centre, Paintball, Lasercity lasertag, bowling, ice skating, arcade, Interactivity Boardroom Cafe, Fired up! (Paint your Own Ceramics), Quest Reality Games,
Transport is included. Parents can send admission fees the day of activities.
